Job Purpose
Conducts property inspections on assigned projects and produces accurate inspection notes and valuation reports.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Consistently produces error free output and is concerned with maintaining standards of accuracy and quality including that of immediate colleagues.
- Prepares written location and property description in the valuation reports
- Ensures that all reports and recommendations on reports and inspections comply with the RICS guidelines as amended from time to time by the RICS
- Develops an understanding of the residential market, trends, prices and rates to assist in valuation preparations
- Carries out other related duties as assigned from time to time.
- Has the desire to help or serve internal or external customers and to meet or exceed expectations
- Self-motivated and sticks to the 24-hour deadlines required in mortgage valuation instructions.
- Be able to produce written reports in English to present findings along with recommendation of Market Value
- Be able to communicate ideas and solutions to problems
Education, Skills & Experience
Education
- Graduate with a desire to work in the valuation industry.
- Relevant degree and/or willingness to work towards achieving it.
Skills / Experience
- Real estate Valuation experience (1-2 years preferably)
- Must be proficient in basic IT skills MS office, and basic understanding of a software similar to ValuePro.
- Driving license
